Not A European Squid !

It looks very similar to our "aori" but the fin looks a little narrower and doesn't seem to go all the way around like ours usually do. It could be a relative. The Japanese one is called Sepioteuthis lessoniana and has been known to get as big as 5kg.



There is a Sepioteuthis loliginiformis which lives in the Red Sea.
