Sink Rates
#5
Thanks Glen.

The Daiwa Emereldas is the MD 2.5 fire. I did find the sink speed by walking into my local tackle store and looking at the back of packet. The problem is that i am not very fluent in reading Japanese. The 2.5 Daiwa sinks at 5 to 6sec per meter and last nite i used both daiwa and Yamishita Golden bait and found the Yashi got into the strike zone a little quicker even though both jigs have the same sink rate. I also had a look at the yo zuri link you provided and it only lists sink speed for the Aurie Q in size 3.5.

Any idea how to get the websites lke the Daiwa jp in english? Daiwa au also has the emereldas but again no sink speed.

I suppose thats part of the whole experience different conditions need different approaches. if all squid/fish took whatever we threw there way wouldn't be much fun...

Thanks again.
