A few friends and I launched our kayaks at around 1pm in glorious sunny conditions with light winds. We had been fishing hard in the Clyde river in the morning, and had nothing to show for our efforts. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> We had only been fishing for half an hour when a nasty southerly sprung up out of nowhere. I persisted for a couple more hours in the choppy swell and managed 6 nice squid on Yamashita 1.8 and 2.0 jigs, a brown shrimphunter and an Egi Lee Frocky, lost a few as well. Squid for tea! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
