I just found the area to catch squid in the Boston area is Nut Island. I guess it's in Hough's Neck (a section of Quincy).
From what I was told, the parking is OK, and the dock is not overpopulated, and best fished in mid to late May.
I'm only passing along what a coworker has told me. If anyone does head out that way, please let me know how the squidding is.
Tight Lines![/quote]
I had been there three times in April, the last time was Saturday 4-26. Very nice place indeed, not crowed at all (maybe it's just the very beginning of the season). I hangout there for couple of hours rollerblading but I haven't seen anyone catch anything, yet.
Where are you from TentacleWrestler? maybe we can fish together.
