After Finally getting out and targeting JewFish with my well stocked squid supply it was time to add a few Inkers back to the Squidly Bank.

Went out for an arvo session on the 14th Bloody windy but didnt stop a few Inkers landing in my bucket

I broke the tip of my sloppy rod my little Daiwa rod I used to love using for my squidding .But now I am using my Eggi rod all the time now and wouldn't go back to any other rod.

bens back!!

Nice squids ben, they look nice to eat. You have a good selection of squid jigs.

Good to see the squids are giving you a great return on investment, those jewies look excellent.

You must know a very good spot for squid because you always catch them in quality and quantity.

Cheers Mate. I thought it was time to test out my squid supply .

Cheers Mate . Most of my squid these days are at a new spot I have been squiding over the last five months Great spot always come home with a few Inkers . There is allot of squid fisho's who hit the area but not all realise how good the area is . Its surprising with time in an area and a good pair of rock hopping boots how you can suss out an area .I must get back to the bay for a session

Gday Bent_Rod

Yeah I stopped my squidly reports for a while I erased my photo bucket account as I had the username from a kayakfishing site I started a few years ago which I no longer run so I finally started a new account .Mate the jewies went down well . I dont know why they are called soapies in regards to taste and texture . <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rod:' /> They tasted great filleted skinned and all the bones out . <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/xyxthumbs.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> And yes I do know a good spot but also thats all I fish for these days . And most squiding sessions would be no less than five hours so when you put the time in it doesnt take long to work out a new area .I am still yet to catch one over 1kg .Something to look forward to

Cheers Ben

Couldnt help myself had to get out and try and catch a few more Inkers to bring my squid stock back up to where it was before I Caught the jewie bug. Got down to my spot around 230pm started of at my first spot with the Daiwa jig in Orange 3.5 I stayed at my spot for around 30min then moved on as I normaly get one with in the first 30min in that spot . I then tried three other spots with the bright jig without a touch . I finally got to one of my end spots and changed over to the Gold 3.5 within a few minutes I had three good size Green Eyes in the Bucket and one tiny one which I released latter in the arvo to live another day <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rod:' />
