Squidding in the mangroves ?
#1
Out of pure curiousness,

Has anyone caught squid in the mangroves ? or the estuaries ?

I know that mangroves are a great hideout for juvenile fish to grow, and so i get the impression that with dense cover, its also 'ambush-central' for many opportunistic predators like squid. I just wonder though, if squid enter mangrove estuaries as frequently in search of prey?

But its a crazy thing to do haha, not to mention the snags... but what do you guys think ?

Excellent! I know a good spot in the estuary where the water is clear in the mangroves. Wonder just what would strike a jig there, hopefully not a snag. lol
