Hi Squidfishers,
I snuck over to Long Bay this morning with a very positive vibe knowing the tides & atmospheric conditions were favourable for a very productive albeit short half hour session. Had the whole place to myself and left it that way for a 9am meeting in Chifley. Post meeting, knowing they're on the chew I snuck over to Bare Island for a very quick (15min) flick. 2 casts later I have a fine size breeding pair at my feet and the guys fishing off the bridge are charging! I had to chuckle when he asked what kind of fish, he was confused until I said "calamari". Turns out he would love to catch calamari rings, but did not have a calamari ring jig <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Sorry fellas, I just can't give away killer Jap jigs, you'll have to prevail with the chicken strips. I had to get back to the office so left them (the squid) biting.
Sumizoku #3 in the EDY pattern did all the damage.
All up 10 in 45mins with two under breeding size released, some days are diamonds!
Sorry for the crappy pic.
