Hi Doc, when they arrive they can be caught from the commercial dock in Woods Hole if you're land bound. Not the ferry dock, but down by the institute. They do well in boats by Falmouth too, but I'm not familiar with any shore spots there. They baled them last spring on the Vinyard but that's a ferry ride. Good luck!!

Hi kutocon, I'm mostly a dock squidder. Try asking loligo on this forum, he boat fishes out of Falmouth. Last spring they were thick as thieves on the Vineyard and he was fishing them right in Edgartown harbor, but I know the boat guys kill them right off Falmouth too.

Hey Doc, we always fished the east end of the canal at the end of Freezer Rd in Sandwhich. It has been years since I've squid fished in that area, but I'm sure they still come through that area. I live in Webster and would be willing to carpool to the Cape.

Okay We went down to Cape sound today, covered about thirty miles . And didn't find a single squid .
I will try again this weekend .
Thank you, to all of you who posted the squids activity . I missed out in 2012 season and only catches about 100 lbs, yes only about one hundred Pounds . We fish by boat now a day, about 15 16 year ago we fished down in Newport by the bridge but it get too crowdy .
