I've been meaning to post this up, but things at home etc have been so hectic.
Anyways, back in August I was supposed to meet up with innky for a quick Cronulla session.
He ended up backing out due to something coming up, so I headed out alone.
Managed 2 calamari, then at the top of the tide, the egi got absolutely smashed.
Scared me at first as I though it might have been a Salmon or something, and my eging reel only has 100m of 4kg braid.
Unlike squid, which I've always found hit from the side or top, this hit came from underneath.
After a almost 15 minutes (thats including the time to get in onto the rocks as I'm land based) I managed this awesome 4.5Kg Sepia/Cuttlefish!
I was using a Whizzer's Jive 8'6 and Shimano Soare30.
