Another newbie from down under

[diesel]

G'day all,

 

The name is Jeff, but most of my mates call me diesel - I worked more than 40 years as a diesel mechanic and now retired.

 

I'm currently at Smoky Bay on the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia where for the past 30 years I have usually spent around 3 months of the year chasing southern calamari squid from the local jetty or the rocky headlands.

 

I've been reading this forum for a while and figured it was time to join and ask a few questions and perhaps share a bit of my limited knowledge.
