Hi all,
I often see the word "egi" appear on japanese squid fishing sites and never knew what it meant. I stumbled across the following site which says that egi means "wooden lure".
I am guessing that yozuri or yo-zuri squid jigs are not wood anymore. Has anyone ripped a Yo-Zuri apart lately to see if it is wood underneath?
