A lot of quality southern calamari up to the 40 cm mark being caught over here on the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula at the moment with places like Smoky Bay, Haslam, Ceduna & Fowlers Bay further west producing some incredible catches.

I've bagged out (15) on 2 occasions during the past week with a Gan Craft UO-jya in slimy mackerel livery proving to be a real magnet to the bigger squid.

The wind can be a bit of a problem here at times, but on the calmer days the water is crystal clear and the sqidding couldn't be better.
