squid nutritional facts

i was wondering if squid can accumulate heavy metals and other pollution if they come from polluted areas?

I would say squid like all fish would build up heavy metals and polutants if exposed to this enviroment

Squid ingest water to take in oxygen as they have no gills and also to help squirt their ink at any predators if this water is poluted chances are so is the squid. I do know they are very senstive to water quality an can detect

if something is not right and swim to cleaner waters

Squid are very far from dumb I have been studing them for a while now
