Japan and Korea Squid Fishing

Hi all,



I know that Japan and Korea make a lot of squid jigs. They have a reputation for making some of the best jigs around! BUT is the squid fishing in these countries actually any good?

Squid jigs are manufacturered many in Korea. There is a company

named Squid Korea Corporation who have been manufacturing

squid jigs for more than 15 years.



There are many big squid vessels in Korea. 80-100 squid reeling

machines are equipped onto a vessel and about 60 such vessels.



Such large squid boat are operating in Argentine sea.



So many small sea fishing boats along the coast but they are

for near sea fishing.

Is recreational squid fishing very popular in Korea? What type of squid do people catch?
