[quote name='Jazman' date='Jun 29 2005, 01:05 PM']I fished off Mordialloc in a boat in search of a gummy last night, only caught small flathead, but had a squid jig out and managed 4 small calamari and lost another 3 because I forgot my landing net <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />
I also had to cut my trip short because the fog started to come in, and I didn't want to get lost <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

hi jaz i know that the squid are a little different down south (im from brisbane) but i was wondering if you guys have a problem with the electrical current (very small but deffently there) with the lead in your jigs i have just changed my jigs(no lead keal) and dont even have to retreive them i just cast them with a chem stick and wait i use twisted droppers to keep the line and jigs at right angles to the main line (once again no metal). I went out last week and caught 55 in 3 hours compaired to the person standing next to me who caught 3 (cast and retrieving with lead keal) at the same time. I used blue, pink, and green they all worked as well as on another. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blueboxbullet.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blueboxbullet.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blueboxbullet.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blueboxbullet.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/as.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':au:' />
