Quote:02.03.06 -- Local anglers have two good choices for fishing action this weekend, weather permitting. The first is the red-hot monster calamari action off the Sonoma Coast. Rick Powers, owner of Bodega Bay Sportsfishing is taking out a party-boat of anglers at least two to three times a week and bringing them all back with dozens of giant Humboldt squid each. These are monsters that are aggressive, tough fighters. The action is swift and most anglers catch as much as they want in an hour or less. Trips are $75 and for that you will bring home a freezer-full of tasty squid, with lots left over to share with family and neighbors. Call Rick at 875-3344 for reservations and information.
