QLD - Squidding Airlie/ Shute Harbour

G'day Squiddos

 

Fellow member (vic) coming up for some sunshine and proper fishing for a few weeks staying with friends in Airlie... 

 

Of course im bringing my fishing rods..

-7"6 Med with Stradic 5000 for bigger fish than we catch in Vic

-7"7 4-8kg Veritas PLX with a Stradic 4000

-7" Sentire 2-4kg with my Nasci 2500 .

 

Before I fly up in two days time, If Im way off the mark on what Im bringing, please advise otherwise ;-)

 

Although I love catching anything, Squid is my passion. Ive got my favourite squid jigs packed, and Im desperate to land a few..

 

Please, if anyone has any squid spots in the area, I will buy you a beer! (If your in Airlie ;-) )
