Squid going of the bite.

Need a little help I been fishing this spot in kiama for squid and I was having lots of good luck with it, I was getting good numbers.  But the last few times I been too this spot nothing at all. I am new to squid fishing and I was wondering if that’s normal and do squid move around to different spots or do they stay in the same area?

focus on fishing around the tide changes, as well as dawn n dusk, clear water,

and yeh they move around, but also if its only a small area theres only gona be so many..
