Painted Or Cloth Jigs
#1
Looking at the Yozuris as an example which is available in painted and cloth form. Which do you prefer and why? Does one perform better than the other ie which one catches more? Are shy squid more likely to take the painted or cloth one?

Mate, the cloth adds a nice "touch factor", as they are a bit softier and have more texture, ie squids are more likely to attack these cloth covered-jigs more than once, so a better chance of hook up. the most well known yo-zuri shrimp hunter and Aurie-Q jigs are both cloth covered <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup2:' /> cloth also works as a absorber if you use any scented sprays on your jigs.

Cheers,

Richard
