I have been busy servicing my reels and I am just about to fix them up with some new line.
I've been converted to braid over the the last few years - mainly fireline. I am planning to line up a couple of reels mainly for long cast squid float fishing using baited jigs. How does braid behave with float fishing?. A problem I have had in the past has been the line sinking into the weed beds at time. This is particularly a problem with changing tides or winds. My guess is that braid will sink quicker than mono. What are your experiences?
