Calamari Vs Squid

there is a big difference between calamari and squid....



not just in looks but in the eating too.....squid are best as bait, whereas calamari are sweet succulent little crittes most of us catch....

left one is an arrow squid and right one looks like a southern calamari

Though we might use an egi to catch ika......really we are catching something far more exotic <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />



Would be good if people start using the right vernacular
