Hi guys, did anyone see tonight's episode of Adventure Bound on Channel 31 in Melbourne?
They caught heaps of squid and had some nice underwater footage of squid. They were fishing off Queenscliff. You could see the light house in the background.
It is a shame my TV reception for C31 is so bad!

I switched the TV on and watched the last bit of it. Saw a jig in water, then i went to get my girlfriend to watch together. By the time we got back (after half a minute) the dude was already preparing squid salad... hope i didnt miss too much?? <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup2:' />

He caught heaps as usual! I think fish (and squid) are just drawn to that guy like a big magnet!

glad to see I'm not the only nut watching adventurebound.
I look forward to my weekly dose of it and 100% pure fishing as it helps me dream the week away untill the weekend comes around.
they also did a show on catching squid at the western port entrance and yes he cleaned up on some rippers and some would have been close to 2kg in weight , I love that bright blue line that runs up and around the squids hood , don't get that on the northern calamari we get up here in morton bay but still they have some amazing colours.

I saw the one the other night when he shoves the gaff through his hand whilst trying to boat an enormous kingy in SA.
They do catch some cool fish.
I really need to go fishing again. must try and find some spots around brisbane

I have mates who have fished with this talented and dedicated fisher who died loving what was his passion. My condolences to his family, and I'm sure that his loss to the fishing community will also be great.
