Does The Color Of My Jig Really Matter?
#1
With the voting happening on which colour jig is the best you might be interested to see the extract below....

"The fact that most cephalopods can alter their appearance with such accuracy is made even more startling with the major likelihood that most cephalopods are color-blind. "

seems to me that no two places have a jig colour in common.

orange and blue up here and down south pink and green. go figure ??????

starting to think that maybe squid are a bit coloured blind .

you see the docko's on cuttlefish and the colour shows they put on but they are in shades of colours and not bright colours ...reds..orange & yellows if you follow me.

I've been watching them with close interest lately and have seen the go from almost invissable to dark brown in colour before taking a jig , normaly when I'm chasing squid the dark ones hanging in a bunch are harder to get to take a jig as the light ones but then had the light ones put on an instant dark show before striking a jig....wtf ???? beats me.

whats your theory ???
