5 tonight but messed up a few more by talking to others and noticing too late.
Maybe that meat on the jig does make sense, especially when rod is unattended. One night all the squid were doing were holding with the long legs then letting go. I think meat would have been good then.
I believe that float, or no float, or lead weight to the bottom all have merits.
I was the only one with lead on tonight. But I did better than anyone else at Devonport, should have done better but am a little rusty.
