What Egi rod should i purchase? need some advice please :)

Hi everyone my first post.

 

Im looking to upgrade from a sahara rod to a specific egi rod. Will be wanting to pair it up with a reel i already have Daiwa Emeraldas colollsal.

 

 

I will be fishing mainly off a boat but will occasionally fish of rocks/ pier.

Options so fair are: Budget around $400.00

 

Hearty rise Poseidon $209.00

 

Heart rise Night attack $369.00

 

Daiwa emeraldas MX $ 289.00

 

Im more than open to suggestions? So far i'm leaning towards the Night attack.

Bit late maybe but at your budget you can also look at the Lox range. I've got the 8325 and am happy with it. Don't know anything about the Hearty rise range. If pairing with your Emeraldas reel just get the matching rod. Whatever you get make sure you get one for the heaviest jig you think you are going to throw.
