Joe, I wasn't sure what this had to do with fishing but I had to look. A "Bris" is the Jewish ceremony of circumcising an 8 dya old baby boy. Good luck with your Bris this weekend.

Hot tip.
Don't hold your graphite squid jig up in the air during a Brisbane electrical storm.
Seriously , how did you go ?
Did you manage to wet a line ?

my mate i was going to go with was too tired and i didnt want to go all the way to manly by myself.
although i may go up pomestone passage this coming weekend and hire a boat, are there much squid messing around there? if so where abouts? as ill be out there the full day and the high tide is at 730ish ion the morn so will have plenty to explore after i finish messing around the bridge after the tide shift.
are squid tide consciencous like bream? or do they go where they want?

Sorry mate I've never fished the Pumicestone for squid.
Try talking to the local baitshop guy and see if he can give you any advice.
Might cost you the price of a packed of bait but he should have all the local knowledge.
If you are fishing for fish you could keep a jig in the water as well and see if you can tempt a squid.
Good luck.

try the entrance to the harbour where the trawlers tie up, on the mainland side
run-up to top of tide
if they are anywhere, it's a good place to look
