Hey everyone,
I must have been snoozing but I just noticed that we have now passed 15,000 posts in the forum.
The forum started back in the year 2000. So that would work out at about 1500 posts per year.
Thanks to everyone for keeping the forum alive for such a long time!
Happy squidding everyone!
Cheers, Glen <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/xyxthumbs.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />

in the city there is a couple of complete angler stores. one focuses on fly fishing and the other has more lures and stuff. i have not been there for a while. i imagine you probably would do better on ebay! that is where i buy my gear these days.

we stayed at Oaks on Collins st and the hotel was very nice plus there was a complete angler store just a block away but didn't get to check it out.
Melbourne is a nice city and you feel safe walking around the streets after dark and we enjoyed our stay but wished we could have been there a bit longer as it was nice and cool unlike brizzy at the moment....stinking hot..
got to check out phillip Island and the penguins , old melbourne gaol , aquarium , markets ect ect.
and also found a landbased fishing spot for snapper if I'm there between december and april.
Melbourne is on the ...must visit again list..
