I am concerned with them shutting us down as well.
Let's form a coalition.
I think if we can get enough signatures, we can have them get traffic cops to shut down one lane, and give US MORE ROOM. Maybe turn it into a recognized festival and get some sausage vendors involved. Who wouldn't want a sausage and onion sandwich?
Fishing is a basic right and a simple past time.
The bridge does not belong to the Hyatt.
We should respect that people need to get in and out of the hotel, but they don't need to be assholes either.
Last year this biotch couldn't go around a friend of mine walking along the edge of the road (whom is the president of a lure company).
She wailed on the horn at which point he walked right in the middle of the lane, the rebel.
There was lots of room on the other side, and she was just being annoying but it pissed me off so bad I wanted to decorate her SUV with a nice inky squid.
I am sure that would have gotten us thrown off the bridge, so I did not do it, but I wanted to, really badly.
Let's keep our cool, and show respect for any officers on patrol, and who knows, maybe we can convince them to come and join us after they get off their shift.
It is much better to have them on our side.
DrCiro I would have to heavily disagree with your first statement. People pay a lot of money to stay at the hotel and also to have weddings right down a little further. You or your friend should not be in the street in the way of cars. It is called J walking and it is another reason they want to shut us down. So next time tell your friend the car has the right of way and to get back on the sied of the road.
This will be my third year now and I do not want it to be my last. I got 2 parking tickets lat year in the same night, but you know what, it was my fault not the towns, I should have parked somewhere else.
What I am trying to say is GUYS and GALS What ever you do in life has rules and consequences, it is up to us to obey and I guess help inforce the rules to prevent the consequences everyone speaks of.
Good luck To All See You Up There Soon
