I was the one with the idea of printing t-shirts but the response was not enthusiastic enough for me to get motivated.
Maybe someone else will run with my idea, in which case, I'll buy one.
Perhaps if there is interest we can get a committee together for a post-season mailing of them (trophy shirts?)
Otherwise lets talk about it for next season.
As for the melting rope and lamp. I made that call in the original post and upon looking at the photo, I might have been wrong about the rope failure mode.
Needless to say, I would (as was recently suggested) stay away from polymer rope and go with cotton.
You can be sure it won't melt. As for catching fire, dip it in the drink and lay your worries aside.
I still like day fishing for them.
I "F"-ing killed them during a bright sunny day.
Looking forward to seeing my fellow squiding friends, old and new.
Since this has grown, I would really hope that some etiquette is shown, with respect to, people running over to were the squid are hitting and crowding out the folks that had been patiently awaiting them.
You can catch them everywhere on the bridge, and if someone has been fishing a spot and begins to get lucky, don't be a tentacle/testicle and ruin it, by playing twister with them.
Everyone pitch in for the good time to be had by all.
I hate to be a pain in the ass but, people, clean up after yourselves, and if everyone grabs just one extra thing they find along the way, we will guarantee the city of Newport will continue to accommodate us.
As for my other theory; the trees are in full bloom aren't they?
Remember it next year.
If I wasn't busy moving I'd be there right now.
Cheers!
