With a little more experience under my belt and a few notches in my squid rod I think I'll repost <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

There is no "best" colour <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/innocent.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />
Pink and orange are great at night. Some places I've been, pink outfishes orange and vice versa. During the day, I have had better results with more natural colours. I say more, because one I like is Yamashita's blue with a yellow tail. I got a nice one on Sunday morning with an olive and orange jig.
Over here, people also pay alot of attention to the base colour. So far, marble works better than other bases with orange or pink cloths. Come to think of it, I think I prefer marble over any other base. That said, the olive/orange has a gold base <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />
Recently, Yamashita has released some truely natural coloured jigs, including shrimp, jack, sardine and a couple of other local fish. Natural colour page
They also have a new colour series called Neo Trad. Very unnatural but not exactly high appeal colours either. Neo Trad page
