The Humboldt squid have been available in Washington waters as well.
Generally the guys out fishing for Tuna out of Westport have been catching them at night. I have had quite a few customers getting jigs to take out on their Tuna trips. The charters don't advertise this, but Tuna Fishing during the day, then at night you can fish for squid. The reports that I have gotten indicate that there are plenty of them out there.
