I have tried them and only caught 1 squid @ 500grm,maybe just a quiet day?? they do work but batteries go flat quick, mine was a sealed jig now totally useless!! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />
i havent used them myself. but i've seen people used them and caught squids with them, might be slightly more effective then conventional jigs i would imagine. But again quality is the key, and thats what these jigs lack of. many people told me that LED jigs on ebay are almost "once-off", corroded, flatted out after only a few uses... i guess you can still use the battery-dead jigs just like a normal jig, not sure about their buoyancy.
