The "deep water" area for queenscliff clamari is around the 13m mark i have found, it can vary. If you fish close to shore we are talking ~3m deep but you need to keep an eye on how close you are to the waves breaking on the beach <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />
I have got a couple of marks of mornington in ~20m where i caught some snapper last year, i'll pass them on.
