HI we caught some squid at the weekend and wondering how do you take the membrane off the squid

i was told if you took it off the squid won't go tough <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
