Glen,
Yes, the Humboldt squid is very aggressive and will eat anything it thinks has a disadvantage over. The attack footage from the divers eye view is crazy also. When you are in the water with these animals they sometimes attack each other and tear the other apart.
Wear armor to dive with these animals.
