sixsquid,
What do you mean by japanese style jigs? Do you mean the non-prawn style with an umbrella hook? Or traditional with an Asian-style hook (spider hook)? Thanks for any help you can provide. I am a squid jig manufacturer and I am trying to gain an understanding of the local definitions of squid jigs. For example, in my region, we have no prawn-style squid jigs. So, we call the jigs with the umbrella hook a "traditional squid jig" and the traditional (upright) jigs made with the Asian-style hook (spider hook) a Japanese or Asian jig.
Good info you provided above -thanks for sharing.
I'd be thankful for any information you or others reading this post can provide. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Thanks, Steph
