' />[/quote]I have fished for many moons the Dan Russell Pier in Panama City Beach.The Squid Run in the late spring(If you are wanting to fill a 5 gallon Bucket!).Being a son of a Career U.S. Navy sailor,I have had the privilege of fishing salt water piers all over the Country.The Dan Russell pier can be the most very reliable for a catch(not just Squid,I once caught a 170 # Nurse Shark on a 9/0 Penn with 80# test and helped a Guy land a 475# hammerhead shark!I have also seen a 25# Blackfin Tuna Caught!Many Mackeral King and Spanish etc!).May to October Squid can be had!Mostly Oriental ex-pats fish using Jero jigs after dark on Ultralight spinning rod & reel Combos.I have used a spent Bonito carcass tied by the tail and suspended in the water to attract squid!Here is a link [url="http://www.halfhitch.com/drpim.asp"]Dan Russell pier[/url].Half Hitch Tackle Runs a small satellite tackle shop at the front of the Pier(main tackle shop in PC).Here is a link to the Main [url="http://www.halfhitch.com/default.asp"]Half Hitch tackle[/url] for fishing info contact them.Half Hitch also has a sister shop in Destin.I have Squided the pier in Fort Walton Beach with success also. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blueboxbullet.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />
