A bit of a report on the arrows offshore...
I was out in 50m of water last thursday and managed to get a dozen arrows between us, they were alot smaller than previous trips with the majority having 20~25cm hoods. Tiny compared to the monsters we are used to....
Sammy the seal was out there with his girlfriend and nabbed a number of fish and squid before we had a chance to pull them onboard. It was interesting fighting him on 30lb gear, he won ofcourse and all i got was a couta head <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
water temp was 16.5degrees so she's cooled down quite a bit
