I like where your going with this and being a newer squider to the PNW I think that this will assist many other to join and leave their mark as well. Coming from California and the wonderful world of Bass Pro Shops, and White River Fishing Co. I'm a believer in you get what you pay for. My rod of choice is a 6'6" MH rod with a Bass Pro Shop Extreme Baitcast Reel. Spooled with Stren Super Knot. Just a single lure completes my package (Purchased from Cabelas or Bass Pro Shop, whatever brand they have on sale) Its more of spending time with the family and seeing my sons face as we pull something in. In regards to lures, i've had luck with cheap'os to expensives, and they all catch the same.
