Hi everyone,



I found this information about squid fishing spots around Moreton Bay. Its a little out of date but should give you an idea of where you can catch some squid -



Moreton Bay

Night fishing at Victoria Point has produced some quality bream for anglers with fresh baits. Casting a squid jig may also be productive as there have been a few about of late. They would make excellent fresh baits for the bream and occasional squire that has been around.

Moreton Bay

There has been some good squid being caught around the weed beds at Moreton and Peel. The humble squid jig is still the best way to catch a few for a tasty calamari feast or prime bait.

Moreton Bay

The rocky shallows on the eastern side of St. Helena have been producing a few squire as well as some stud bream and sweetlip. A squid jig worked around this area is also likely to attract a few fresh squid, which make prime baits or table fare.

Moreton Bay

The canals at Raby Bay have been producing some good numbers of squid over the last few days. They are apparently quite thick on the run in tide and a

feed of tasty calamari rings is a good incentive to get the old squid jig out and have a few casts.
