i fished NW tassie once before in winter i think...i guess july or august and there was heaps of squid. but i only had lures and no jigs so i could only get them to grab the lures but not actually catch them.



i was fishing off some rocky areas near sisters beach if that helps. its near boat harbour. i got the impression that you can't really do much wrong any time of the year.
