Hi guy's, went squdding armed with silver whitting and jigs, started at portarlington just on dark, saw about 6 caught but the size was very small, all of them about 6 inches long, I didn't even get a touch, decided to move down the road to st leonards and try, same thing again saw about 4 people catch little 6 inch babys again, gave up after 2 hrs empty handed again, determined not to come home without a feed I moved again to close by queenscliff, by this time it was 2 am, as I was walking along the jetty I saw 6 people land one each, this time the size was better, about 12 inches long, I would say about half a kilo size, not big but 6 would give a good meal, I set myself up and 20 minutes latter BINGO ! two one after the other, these were bigger, about one kilo each, my spirit had lifted ! then the arse fell out of my night, THAT DARN SEAL SHOWED UP !! guess what ? you got it, nothing the rest of the night, Can anyone Help ? Ive decided to try and breed WHITE POINTERS, I'm convinced there's not enough of them ! if there were the seal population would not be such a problem, stay tune for my next adventure starring ; desperate Pete and sammy his pain in the arse side kick seal,,,,,,,,,, cheers Pete.
