I've bagged out many times but in all these occasions most of the catch has been small with the ocassional good one thrown in. My best catch was a total of 14kg (6 squid), all bad hungry monsters. Getting them around to the right point of the pier to use a small net was at times farcical but very exciting. My father and mum, fishing off portsea pier two years ago bagged around 20 one night for 27kg weighed!!
