hi lbgfreak1,



with the occy, i usually cut the end bit of the legs and keep it for bait.

now with the rest of the occy, the trouble starts now:

i throw/smash it on the rocks for a good 20-30 times to break all the mussels and tenderize it.

then i rub/scrub the occy on the rocks for 10-15 minutes, to remove all the sticky saliva it has on its skin, while washing it with sea water every now and then.



after all that trouble, its ready to be cooked and eaten.

usually i bbq them, or my mum cooks them in the pot with red tomato sause and potatoes.(a favorite greek dish!)
