Well Queenscliff pier has finally fired up
I fished the peir Wednesday night for 10 squid at 30 cms on pink lures
other anglers though struggled to get past 3
High tide was at 12am and wind was S/SW
You have to work for you bag limit and spining was the winning technique alot of anglers missed out because they used poles and left the bait motionless I find this technique useless on calm nights
First squid was caught at 12, 30 and the last at 4.am when the rain and wind picked up
