I fished off Mornington on Saturday from 7.00am to 10.30am, so much for the 5 to 10 knots, the water was so dirty I don't think any squid would of come out. A few boats out but not much action, a lot of people leaving early. Tried for garfish inside the pier after all the reports you hear but not even one, beryled up and everything, Crap. We did raise one small octopus but they always let go right at the boat. We fished the week before at Sorrento and the water was a lot clearer down there, and we caught a couple of squid, see pic under Robert.
