Fished Safety Beach on 27 May 2003 between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
The wind was variable, the tide was rising, the water was clear to 8 metres.
Calamari were hard to find, but 7 medium sized specimens landed on the boat via the trusty orange jig. One came from a green jig. The tide ran too fast for any more. Almost all were taken in over 6 metres of water.
Fished the rest of the tide for flathead and got enough flattie tails for three meals.
Will try again tomorrow.
In any case, the Bay was beautiful and the day was relaxing. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />
