Fast Sinking Jig Required
#1
My favoured method of catching squid is to drift over weed banks in a dingy. I have the greatest success positioning the jig as close to the weed as possible. I favour prawn style Yo-Zuri 2-3 in orange specially if the water vis is a little murky. Yo-Zuri's sink slowly and tend to be only slightly negatively bouyant regardless of size. On some days the drift rate is too high and drags the jig back near the surface. I therefore need a jig that is heavier and sinks more readily. Adding lead Lead weight effects the action of the jig. Can anyone recommend such a jig.
