On a serious note if you guys are serious about putting time in to squid fish piers, think about getting rid of your generators. They don't allow them in Greenport and in May I was asked by s cop to shut it off at the Huntington docks. The noise attracted him , and he said I could probably stay if I kept generator off. We'll there goes the light. I have since come up with a way to use car or boat batteries. Light will not last as long . 300 watt led 1.5 hours and 100 watt led 4.5 hours. Underwater lights can last all night. Generators will ruin it for all of us. Don't need to light up night like Yankee stadium. Egiman will agree with me, and gas said the same thing in the past.

I  prefer using the battery and led. I dont really like the generators. Squid fishing should be relaxing, you wont feel relaxing if a generators create a lot of sounds. The resident there wont like it too and if they call the police, the spot will probably be shut down or things like that.
