Mordialloc Pier, Port Philip Bay, VICTORIA

This is probably the most reliable squid pier I know of on the eastern side of the bay, it's a rare night when you go home squid-less, and when they're on it's crazy. Most of the squid are not huge, so size 2.0 jigs are the go, I've also had good success on size 1.8 yamashitas. A lot of garfish are also caught from this pier, as well as whiting, snapper and many other species during summer.
